Doretha’s ministerial career begins in 1982 at Faith Memorial Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she was licensed to preach by the late Reverend Phillip Youngblood. Reverend Lindsay was Ordained as a Minister in the Pentecostal-Holiness tradition at Macedonia Pentecostal Holiness Church and in the Baptist tradition at Friendly Friends Baptist Church, both churches located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In November 1995, The Reverend Doretha Baskerville Lindsay was called as Interim Pastor to Saint Peter’s Church of God; February 1996 she was installed as Pastor. Reverend Lindsay is currently affiliated with The Bethel Deliverance Fellowship of Churches under the leadership of Bishop Eric A. Lambert, Jr. She is very active at the church and the community at large. She is a former board member for the Carroll Park Community Council; she is on the Advisory Board for Haddington Multi-Services; and she is an immediate past Chairman of the Board for Spectrum Health Services. She previously served as the Assistant to the General Secretary for the Black Clergy of Philadelphia & Vicinity and is the founder of the Lansdowne Avenue Business Association. Pastor Lindsay is also a visiting professor at the Community College of Philadelphia, teaching Introduction to Management.
Reverend Lindsay is married to Deacon Melvin Lindsay and is the mother of three adult off-springs: Evangelist Karen Sills, Otha Topping and Trustee Tanya Baskerville; the grandmother of six and great-grandmother of five. In addition to her Pastoral responsibilities, Reverend Lindsay is a sought after facilitator for Women’s Conferences, Leadership Events, as well as a Revivalist and Guest Preacher.

The Reverend Doretha Baskerville-Lindsay
The Reverend Doretha Baskerville-Lindsay was born in Accomack, Virginia and is a product of the Virginia Public School System. Doretha moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1964 as a young single mother. Through faith and perseverance, she continued her education and was awarded her GED in 1976.
Being ambitious for a better life, Reverend Lindsay earned an Associate Degree in Marketing Management from the Community College of Philadelphia in 1989, a Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in Urban Ministry from the Center for Urban Theological Studies of Geneva College in 1994, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2003. Currently, Reverend Lindsay is matriculating at the Theological Seminary of the Reformed Episcopal Church (Reformed Episcopal Seminary) in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
